Allison Hauser focuses her practice in the areas of workers' compensation, employment law and defense of insurance agents and agencies. In her workers' compensation practice, Ms. Hauser aggressively defends employers (self and market-insured) and carriers throughout the state and at the appellate level. Ms. Hauser advises local and national self and market-insured employers, their carriers and third party servicing agents regarding return to work issues, third party liens, and medical management of claims.
Ms. Hauser received her B.A. from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1986 and her J.D. from Emory University in 1989.
Ms. Hauser is admitted to practice in Florida, Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also a licensed Florida Property & Casualty insurance agent. Ms. Hauser is a member of the Florida [Member - Workers' Compensation and Trial Lawyers Sections], Jacksonville and Texas Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, the Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute. Ms. Hauser has served as Chair, Vice-Chair and a as a general member of the Florida Bar Workers' Compensation Rules Committee since 1999 to the present day. Ms. Hauser is also an alumni of the Chester Bedell Inn of Court. In 2002, Ms. Hauser received an “AV” certification from Martindale-Hubbell. Additionally, she was named to the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Super Lawyers list. Only 5% of the lawyers in Florida earn the Super Lawyers honor.
Ms. Hauser is a member of Meninak. She is a past board member of the Arthritis Foundation of Northeast Florida and Willing Hands and the past President of One Woman’s Place of Jacksonville. Ms. Hauser has also served as a Legal Aid volunteer attorney.
