Overview

Giselle Carson practices primarily in the areas of immigration and naturalization and civil litigation and is fluent in both Spanish and French.  Ms. Carson has first-hand knowledge of immigration as she was born in Cuba and immigrated as a teenager to Montreal, Canada, and later to the United States.

Ms. Carson was named to the 2005 Up and Comers list by the Jacksonville Business Journal and a 2007 and 2008 Up & Comer by Florida Trend magazine's Florida Legal Elite.  She was also recently named to the 2009 Super Lawyers - Rising Stars list. She is a frequent writer and lecturer on immigration issues such as employment verification, naturalization and employment-based immigration.  She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and all Florida State Courts.  Ms. Carson is "BV" Peer Review Rated through Martindale-Hubbell.

Ms. Carson is an active member of several professional and community organizations including the Florida and Jacksonville Bar Associations (Board since 2006) and the American Immigration Lawyers Association ("AILA," Chair, Conference Planning Committee, Sept. 2009 AILA National Fundamentals Conference).  She is a member of Leadership Jacksonville (Class of 2005, Board since 2008) and of the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (President, 2008 and 2009).

In addition to enjoying her career as a Marks Gray attorney, Ms. Carson is an avid recreational triathlete and has competed in two half ironman competitions.  She is married to Jeff, also an avid cyclist.
