Michael McCoy’s practice focuses primarily on civil trial defense in the areas of medical malpractice, commercial & construction litigation, automobile personal injury, and life, health & disability insurance.
Mr. McCoy attended the University of Florida where he received his B.A. in 1995. He received his J.D. in December 2000 from the University of Florida College of Law. During Mr. McCoy’s first year of practice, he clerked for Chief Administrative Law Judge John M. Vittone in Washington, D.C.
Mr. McCoy was admitted to the Florida Bar in May 2001 and he is a member of the Jacksonville and Florida Bar Associations. He is an elected member of the Jacksonville Bar Association's Board of Governors (2008-2009). He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
