Stella Lane practices primarily in the area of civil litigation. She was born in Seoul, Korea and immigrated as a child to the United States.
Ms. Lane is a cum laude graduate of the University of Southern California and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism in 1996. She then received her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 1999.
She served in the United States Navy from 1999 through 2006, where she served, among other duties, as the Senior Prosecutor for offices in Yokosuka, Japan and Mayport, Florida. She is currently serving in the United States Navy Reserve.
Ms. Lane is a member of the Florida Bar and California Bar. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals, First and Eleventh Circuits, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida and U.S. Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals.
She is a co-chair of the Military Law Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association and a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, Jacksonville Federal Bar Association, Chester Bedell Inns of Court, Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel and Jacksonville Asian American Bar Association. She is also the Judge Advocate for the Navy League of the United States, Jacksonville Council.
She is a big sister volunteering for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida.
