Johnny Sarber's practice focuses on civil trial defense, primarily in the areas of transportation law (including aviation, automobile, truck, and common carrier accidents), premises liability, municipal liability, and products liability.
He attended Washington & Lee University where he graduated cum laude and with honors in 1989. He also received his J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 1993. While in law school, he was a Finalist and Best Brief nominee in the John Davis Moot Court Competition and a Finalist and American Jurisprudence Award winner for the National Mock Trial Competition, earning spots for regional competitions in both endeavors. In his final year, he was given the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association Student Advocacy Award.
Mr. Sarber is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and all Florida state courts. He is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Florida Defense Lawyers Association (currently serving a three-year term on the Board of Directors), Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (Vice-Chair, Transportation Section), Transportation Lawyers Association, and Trucking Industry Defense Association.
